Naples Pet Daycare, Pet Boarding
Frank Hake and Joyce Aliaga, co-owners of Pampered Pet Resorts, today announced the management team for the new 24/7/365 dog boarding and daycare facility, scheduled to open December 18 near I-75 and Collier Blvd. at 3840 Bush Blvd. The public is invited to tour the new facility during its open house event Saturday, December 14, 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.
“We have assembled a well-trained, experienced team of individuals dedicated to treating each pet as if it were their own,” said Aliaga, a former canine facility manager, 12-year certified dog trainer and U.S. Navy veteran.
Jennifer Kemp (Jak) will serve as Kennel Manager. She has worked in the pet boarding industry for the past two years and has an additional six years of private pet care and rescue experience. She will oversee all kennel operations, including hiring and training kennel staff; designing and managing group play schedules; ensuring proper grooming, feeding and medication administration; and maintaining an exemplary standard of cleanliness.
Jenna Lynn Powell has been named Assistant Kennel Manager. She has more than four years of pet boarding and grooming experience. Her responsibilities include training new kennel staff, assisting with feeding and medication administration, and general care.
Jessie Evans will serve as Customer Service Manager. She has worked with animals for over 13 years, including three years in the pet boarding industry. She is experienced in general care, training, rehabilitation, temperament testing, medication administration, and more. Her responsibilities include adding and onboarding clients, ensuring accurate check-in details and exceeding client expectations.
“Between our entire team, we have 16 dogs, 5 birds, 3 horses, 3 cows, 6 goats, 6 cats, 2 snakes and 13 fish of our own,” said Aliaga. “Rest assured, we have a passion for pets and will take wonderful care of our clients’ furry family members. Pampered Pet Resorts will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The resort’s primary services will include dog boarding and daycare for all breeds, feeding and medication, and basic grooming. The facility will offer splash pads for water play, artificial turf for outdoor runs, restaurant-grade cleaning systems, an online reservation system, and live video cameras, allowing owners to check in on their pets. The facility has a natural gas-powered generator with the capacity to fully power the building in the event electric service is interrupted. In addition to offering round-the-clock care, the new, 9,000 square foot facility will offer a ratio of one pet handler for every 15 dogs. All pet handlers will be pet CPR and first aid certified, as well as FEMA certified for emergency management during natural disasters.
Several specialty programs will be available, including one-on-one basic training and enrichment; puppy and senior dog programs; private play; water play, and unaltered male programs. Pampered Pet Resorts will serve as a shelter location for pets during weather-related emergencies such as hurricanes. The facility will also dedicate a select number of spots to local shelters, in addition to offering pet safety classes to the community.
In advance of its opening, the resort launched pamperedpetresorts.com, a website with information about available services, programs, special events, and more. Upon opening, potential clients may also make online reservations; view an interactive calendar of events and promotions; read regular blog posts with information about pets and the pet industry; register for a monthly e-newsletter; and/or submit inquiries. The website was developed by Naples-based Wilson Creative Group.
Construction for Pampered Pet Resorts began in January 2019; Naples-based PBS Contractors is the general contractor for the project.
Aliaga and Hake, a construction industry veteran, fellow animal lover and professionally certified dog trainer, plan to launch a Bonita Springs location in the next three years.
