We offer free consultations for all of our guests at our boarding facility in Naples for obedience school training in predetermined increments, depending on the dog. Our pet parents can rest assured knowing they are in good hands with the team at Pampered Pet Resorts. Each training team member is fully trained and certified to handle any of your pups behavior concerns.

One-on-One Basic Training | $600 

• • Sessions: 4
  • Schedule: Based on the client’s and trainers’ availability.
  • Location: At the pups home with their parent
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Training: 1 on 1 basic obedience training (puppy training, old pup new tricks)
    • Example: Sit, stay, down, loose leash walking, come, off, leave

The purpose of our Introduction Training package is to always set the dog up for success. We want to be able to relax and show off our pooches while doing so. If your pup has an issue with jumping up to rush the door or another form of behavior that you believe needs to be curved, it is crucial to understand that this is an ongoing development process. The training will take time, work, and commitment from the human. Often, nine times out of 10, a dog misbehaves because it can and has gotten away with it for so long. Much like children. Positive reinforcement is the best method for any issue that we have found to get the best results in the quickest amount of time. Every dog is different and learns differently. So we have to be ready to mold the training to the pup’s personality.

A Pampered Pet Resorts Certificate of Completion will be provided at the end of the session.

Enrichment Program | $1,600

• • • Allows dogs to interact with the same handler all day and be placed in smaller group settings of no more than 5 pups.
    • Skills: Agility, basics (sit, stay, leave it, etc.)
    • Sessions: 20 classes
    • Duration: 8-hour sessions two times per week over a 10-week course (20 total classes). If the class falls on a holiday, there will be a makeup day scheduled.

Resource Guard Package: $800

The purpose of the Resource Guard Training package is to understand what they are aggressive with (i.e., territory, food, dogs, cats, etc.). Then we discover the threshold where the dog loses control – from there we implement positive reinforcement training to push the threshold into a tolerable situation for both pup and human. Some dogs just do not like other dogs, much like some humans don’t like other humans. Examples of this are more broad as every dog will be different. We may never know why some dogs (rescued) don’t like men, baseball hats, etc. We have to work with a blank space and understand that when a dog is aggressive, it is most likely because they lack confidence. Our job is to rebuild that confidence for them.
