Also in April, we’re celebrating Canine Fitness Month. Promote a healthier lifestyle for your pet and prevent big issues such as canine obesity and sedentarism by exercising and bonding with your furry friend.
Tips for staying active:
- Practice short bursts of obedience training each day
- Extend your outdoor walks by 5-10 minutes
- Rotate your pup’s available toys to encourage interest and greater play time

Bring your paw-some pups on Tuesday, April 4 from 10am-2pm for fun photos with the Easter Bunny! Pets and their parents must be signed up in advance by calling our office. The cost for photos is $20 and the deadline to register is Friday, March 31.
As our four-legged friends grow older, it’s important to maintain a close eye and support their changing habits, lifestyle and behaviors.
- Invest in an orthopedic bed for additional support and comfort
- Establish a consistent grooming schedule to prevent mats, tangles and irritation to delicate skin
- Consider a ramp for stairs, couches or your car if they’ve become challenging obstacles for your pet

Nothing is more important than providing the highest caliber of care and support for your furry friends. The Pampered Pets staff has been attending DPFL’s Canine Center Shadow Program on an ongoing basis to learn more about the latest and greatest in pet care. Their training includes creative kennel enrichment, manners and obedience, socialization, off-leash enrichment, comprehensive behavior modification and more.

Hannah has worked in the industry for 3 years and loves caring for all kinds of furry friends. In her role as manager, she oversees kennel operations, hiring, training, planning and overseeing group play, maintains proper grooming standards and more. She’s awesome! When she isn’t playing fetch with our guests, Hannah enjoys baking, reading and taking her dogs, Stanley and Wayne, on adventures.
