National Pet Fire Safety Day
National Pet Fire Safety Day takes place every year on July 15. More than 500,000 pets are affected by dangerous house fires annually! To prevent fires, don’t leave candles unsupervised and ensure loose wires such as lamps or plugs are out of your pet’s reach. If your home has a wooden porch or deck, never leave a glass water bowl out as the sun can overheat the bowl and cause a fire.
